It is a shopping community that is well worth a visit - Sir Lindsay Hoyle on Steeley Lane in Chorley
The Chorley MP said that the street has something for everyone.
Sir Lindsay Hoyle has urged Chorley residents to “come and use it”.

Taking to his Facebook with a video on Steeley Lane, the MP and House of Commons Speaker said that with a wide variety of independent shops, mini-markets, food outlets and a pub, it has something to offer everyone and it is a shopping community that is well worth a visit.

He added that, while one end of the road is closed to traffic due to the ongoing alterations to Chorley Train Station, the other end is open and fully accessible.
He said: “Don’t forget there’s a vibrant shopping area. Come and use it. It’s a great experience.
“We’ve got different types of shops. You want a new fireplace, you want a sandwich, you want a takeaway, you want your printing, tattoos, haircuts it’s all happening on Little Steeley Lane.
“The road is closed at one end but it’s open at the other.”
