“I didn’t have the time to walk around to catch all the pokemon but I wanted to because I’d been reunited with my childhood and for my daughter who’s obsessed with the game,” said the CEO of web design company Web Spinner UK.
“I jailbroke my phone so I could change what location it thought I was in, downloaded an app which gave me a keypad to move my character and got an app which told me where every pokemon in the world was. It then became obvious I couldn’t catch them all in Preston so I changed my location to London, New York, Toyko and Australia and then walked around and caught them all using the map.”
And the Ribbleton man is now looking to sell his account on the game.
He said: “I’ve seen them go for more than £5,000 so I’d really like to sell it.”
