Investigation into mass building waste blaze
Lancashire fire and rescue service has launched an investigation after a 150 tonne building waste blaze.
Two crews from Chorley and Leyland spent two hours tackling the blaze after they were called to a property near the junction of Scarscow Lane on Southport Road, Ulnes Walton, near Leyland at 18.22pm yesterday.
The fire crews used one pump and three jets to put out the flames.

Hide AdA spokesman for the fire service say they have alerted Lancashire police about the incident and that they are due to visit the scene again this morning.
A spokesman said: “The exact cause of the fire is unknown.
“We will be investigating the cause of the fire.”
