Now as part of their Arts Council funded tour, the team of dancers have put together a new Orbit project and will be performing at Plungington Community Centre on Friday November 18.

DanceSyndrome managing director Dawn Vickers said:“This is an exciting opportunity for DanceSyndrome. Arts Council England funding has allowed us to be really creative with the project.

“Our dancers have had the opportunity to work with some really well respected choreographers and inclusive dance practitioners. We are incredibly proud of the work we have produced and we hope that it will challenge perceptions about what disabled people are capable of achieving.”

As well as performing a range of dance pieces, the dancers will host creative workshops in the performance venues, enabling local people to join in with the dancing and influence the content of the live shows.

At the Preston event there will be a free inclusive dance workshop in the venue starting at 5:30pm which will allow participants to help the dancers to develop exclusive content for the performance which will be unique to that evening’s show, which starts at 7:30pm. Tickets for the performance are just £6 or £3 for concessions and include a buffet at 6:30pm.
