Homeless Hounds puts out urgent appeal to help find gentle giant Arnold a home
An adorable pooch named Arnold has one week to find his forever home.
Homeless Hounds placed the heartbreaking ad on their socials citing that gentle giant Arnold is currently in a foster home but in a week this will no longer be the case.
A spokesperson for Homeless Hounds said: “We are sharing him again with the greatest of hope as he loses his current foster home in a week now.
“So this is now very urgent so we would ask you all to share this post and tap into all your big dog contacts to help us find Arnold’s ideal match.
“It’s always tough to find fosterers for the bigger dogs and to be frank Arnold poses certain additional challenges! (although we love him to bits).”
Arnold is described as a lovable, affectionate pooch who loves attention from his humans and is always up for cuddles and a fuss.
However, he will also guard the home so there is no need to invest in sophisticated security cameras or take additional security measures around the house.
The spokesperson added: “Outside Arnold is reactive to other dogs and is a very strong boy - therefore anyone walking Arnold will need to be physically capable of handling him.
“It could save any lucky applicant a fortune on gym memberships, as Arnold will put you through your paces on walks!
“We know that finding that perfect foster home for Arnold won’t be easy - it may take a while but please help if you can by spreading the word so we can get our giant settled again.”
