The Great Eccleston Show once again lived up to its reputation as one of Lancashire’s premier agricultural events over the weekend.
Welcoming thousands of visitors for a memorable weekend celebrating the very best of rural life, the event was blessed with a fantastic atmosphere as the showground was packed out with families, farmers and countryside enthusiasts enjoying an impressive programme of attractions.
From thrilling displays by stunt entertainer The Kangaroo Kid and inspiring demonstrations in the food theatre with Phil Vickery, Dan Merriman and Dean Edwards, to the ever-popular sheep show, tractor pull, classic cars and magnificent heavy horses, there was something for everyone.
Also on offer was horticulture, baking, homecrafts, livestock competitions, vintage machinery and traditional rural skills alongside the latest technology. The well-supported event once again showcased the people, produce and traditions that make this corner of the North West so special, proving why the Great Eccleston Show remains a highlight of the summer calendar.
