There have certainly been some 'glowing' reviews these past few days - after Preston Pedals kicked off their annual Glow Ride from Moor Park.
Dozens of cyclists turned up to take part in a four-mile cycle on Thursday evening (October 22), kicking off from Deepdale End and touring some of Preston's most iconic landmarks along the way.
Cyclists both young and old were seen pedalling past The Harris, Flag Market, Fishergate and Ringway, all with their bikes wrapped in bright, colourful lights.
It was all part of a campaign by Cycling UK to make room for safer cycling, particularly in the evenings in urban areas.
Women in particular face more risks than anyone when out riding their bikes.
A report from Cycling UK found that 58 per cent found their journeys were limited by safety concerns and a lack of suitable infrastructure.
Campaigns like the Glow Ride give space for all cyclists to group together and ride safely through the city.
Here are some pictures from the evening.
