Girl, 17, sexually assaulted
An investigation has been launched after reports a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a man in Merrytrees Lane, Cottam.
Police said the assault is believed to have happened between 4am and 4.30am on Sunday, June 5.
A force spokesman said: “We are in the very early stages of an investigation and enquiries are on-going at this time to establish the exact circumstances. No arrests have been made at this stage.”
The girl is being supported by specially trained officers.
