A man whose body was recovered from Preston Docks last month has been identified as 61-year-old Nilesh Govindbhai Solanki from Fulwood.
Emergency services were called to the docks, close to the Ribble Pilot pub, after a report of a man entering the water at around 9.37pm on August 16.

A joint search was carried out by Lancashire Police and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, and Mr Solanki’s body was sadly discovered the following day.

A full inquest will take place on November 24.
