Moss is the managing director of Bond Turner, a law firm specialising in personal injury and professional negligence claims. The Liverpool-based firm has been representing thousands of motorists taking legal acting against Mercedes and Volkswagen over the emissions of diesel-powered vehicles. Bond Turner’s parent company Anexo is listed on the stock market. Moss owns 17.4% of Anexo – a stake worth £14.2m. Her husband Alan Sellers chairs the group and owns a similar amount of the shares. The pair have also done well from dividends and share sales over the years. Away from work, Moss is a competitive show jumper.

There were profits of £11.1m on £221.3m sales in 2023. The Blackburn-based business should be worth the £106.7m on its balance sheet and Jean owns 46.3% of the shares.
