Fire crews tackle industrial blaze

Fire crews spent more than three hours fighting a blaze that broke out at Walton Summit.

Three fire engines from Bamber Bridge and Penwortham, as well as an aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn, went to the commercial fire at about 6pm on Friday.

The fire involved an extraction unit in one of the industrial units, which was about 50m by 20m.

Fire crews were at the scene for three and a half hours.
