Fire at chip shop
Staff at the Market Street Chippy in Preston called firefighters to help them deal with a blaze in a fryer.
The fire started because of an excessive accumulation of oil in the equipment at around 1.45pm on Saturday.
Officers used foam to extinguish the flames, then had to ventilate the entire two-storey building.
No customers were in the shop at the time and nobody was injured.
