Family of rare birds in chimney of Chorley supermarket
What appears to be a number of Peregrine falcons have been spotted nesting at Morrisons on Brooke Street.
Resident Marie Fuller, who lives nearby, said the birds of prey seem to nest there every year around this time.

Hide AdAnd last month, she helped to rescue a baby falcon which had become injured and took it into the Hillcrest Animal Hospital for treatment.
Marie said: “I was in my house across the road when we first noticed it.
“We went over to it and it didn’t move much and it seemed a little bit frightened.
“My husband helped to get it into a box and then myself and a friend took it into the vets.
“They kept him overnight and cared for him and then they managed to return him back to his nest the following day.”
