Exciting new chapter for this cute chippy in the heart of Chorley village

The new owners have promised a fresh look and name.

Eccleston Village Chippy has new owners - and an exciting new chapter ahead.

The highly-rated shop, which is sandwiched between houses in The Green, has closed temporarily after its owners for the past eight and a half years, Bob and Beryl, retired.

But it will soon be reopening under new management, who have promised ‘a new look, a new name and a fresh new beginning’.

They took to social media to say: “We’re keeping the new name a little secret for now, so you’ll have to stay tuned for the big reveal! Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates and our reopening date, which we’ll share as soon as we can.

“Thank you all for your patience, kindness and support during this exciting transition. We can’t wait to get started and share this new journey with you all! Here’s to new beginnings, new friendships and an exciting future!”
