Estate at Clayton-le-Woods brought to standstill after accident
A road accident in Clayton-le-Woods, close to Chorley, brought a whole estate to a standstill for an hour this afternoon.
The accident occurred on the village's Parkhurst Avenue after 2pm, with police and paramedics at the scene.
Cars queued to leave the housing estate during the incident.
The road is now clear of traffic.
