Homes left with no water or low pressure across Chorley due to burst pipe

Homes across Chorley were left with no water as engineers worked to fix a burst pipe.

United Utilities were alerted to the issue in the PR7 area at around 10.30am on Wednesday (August 10).

The supplier said homes were left without water or low pressure due to a burst main in the area.

“Our team will be onsite to begin the repair as soon as possible,” a spokesman for United Utilities said.

“Sorry for any inconvenience, we will provide you with updates as we progress with the repair.”
