Elves at Cottam Lane Pharmacy raise money for Alzheimer's Society
Staff at Cottam Lane Pharmacy dressed as elves, raising £300 for Alzheimer’s Society.
‘Straight-laced’ pharmacist Len Clay led his merry elves throughout the day, charming patients who donated funds at the Cottam surgery.

Hide AdFran Clay, fellow pharmacist and Len’s wife, said: “Len is quite straight-laced and so when patients saw him dressed as an elf, with ears and stripy trousers, they were very amused.
“This was his idea, to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society, in memory of my dad, Charlie Burrows, who died of dementia two years ago.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have raised so much money.”
