Elderly woman distracted for theft at Aldi in Chorley

An elderly woman was the victim on a distraction theft in the car park of a supermarket in Chorley.
Police are appealing for help to identify a male in connection with a theft from person at Aldi, Harpers Lane in Chorley.
On Saturday 9th July at 16:40 a woman in her 80s was approached on the car park by a male that is described as being Eastern European, around 511 tall and in his 30s. The male has distracted her and managed to take her debit card, the card was then used at a number of ATMs in the area.Police are appealing for help to identify a male in connection with a theft from person at Aldi, Harpers Lane in Chorley.

Police are appealing for help to identify this man in connection with the theft at Aldi, Harpers Lane, at around 4.40pm on Saturday, July 9.

The man then distracted her and managed to take her debit card, the card was then used at a number of ATMs in the area.

Police are keen to speak with anybody who may have witnessed the incident or have any information.
