University's vegan festival
A Lancashire university is hosting a vegan food festival.
Edge Hill’s Food for Thought event will feature a vibrant market place in The Hub selling everything from cupcakes to Caribbean food and vegan sushi plus a wide range of ethical produce including make-up and clothing.
The event, planned for the weekend of June 2 and 3,is part of Edge Hill University’s annual Festival of Ideas which this year explores a theme of equalities, and those attending Food for Thought will also have the chance to attend a wide range of free Festival of Ideas talks exploring concepts related to individual equalities and modern feminism.
The food event is free.
