Delays after M6 crash
MOTORISTS faced early morning delays on the motorway after two cars lost control.
North West Motorway Police closed two lanes on the M6 southbound between junction 23 at Haydock and 22 at Newton-le-Willows, after one car lost control and came to rest in lane two shortly before 8am on Thursday. Another vehicle then swerved to avoid the car and spun.
No one injured and both drivers were breath tested and provided negative readings.
All lanes are now open.
