Cute Preston North End fans go viral for defending "best team in the world" against Leeds United banter

A super cute video of young PNE fans defending their club has gone viral online.

The video posted earlier this week by Leeds United fan Beece Joan, shows her talking to two young Northenders, both wearing team training hoodies. Using winky faces, she has titled the clip: “They need teaching to support a proper team”.

So far it’s racked up more than 637,000 views on TikTok with almost 60,000 comments, and has been picked up by global media outlets including Lad Bible.

In the video, a woman - thought to be Becce - can be heard asking “What’s that hoody?” when one of the boys tells her “It’s the best team in the world.”

The woman playfully says: “That is disgraceful”. The boys both reply: “Your team’s disgusting me.” The eldest then says: “What team do you support? Blackpool Rovers or summat?”

The woman, who could be related to the boys, says: “Leeds United, doughnut”. The youngest boy replies: “That’s rubbish, that’s rubbish”.

Commenters have said that the boys’ accent makes the clip more hilarious, and praise the young boys for their loyalty to the Championship side. Some have asked if the boys will be getting a Leeds United shirt soon, and Becce has replied that they will.
