Young males 'tried doors on houses and cars' in Ribbleton attempted burglary

Four young men were caught on video trying the doors of houses and cars on Farringdon Lane, Ribbleton on March 12.

The Police are now appealing for anyone with any information to come forward following attempted burglaries in Ribbleton on Friday, March 12.

Scenes captured by CCTV and doorbell cameras show four young males trying car and house doors at a property on Farringdon Lane.

They were caught at around 2 am attempting to open the doors to properties on the street in a video that has been shared on social media.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them to help assist with their investigations.

The video can be viewed on the Preston Police Facebook page.

Their post to social media read: "We are appealing for information following an attempted burglary on Farringdon Lane in Ribbleton on Friday, March 12th.

"Four young males were seen on CCTV in the area at around 2 am. They were seen to be trying doors on cars and houses in the street.
