WANTED: Police hunt after car rammed

Police are looking for a motorist after a car was rammed in Morecambe at the weekend.

Jed Kane, 36, is wanted after an Audi A4 estate car rammed a black VW Golf near to the Lancaster Road junction of Whitby Road in Morecambe on Sunday July 15, shunting the car containing a woman and a man on to a pavement.

The Audi then mounted another pavement resulting in two passers-by having to jump out of the way to avoid being struck.

Police are also trying to trace people who were in the area and witnessed or filmed the incident.

Kane is described as white with short dark hair, blue eyes and has a tattoo of a panther on his back. He has links to Manchester.

They urge anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to get in touch as soon as possible.

They have asked the public not to approach him but to call the police instead.
