'Upskirting' of teenage girls at Lancashire bus stop sparks CCTV appeal
A CCTV appeal has been launched after an "upskirting" incident at a bus stop in Lancashire.
Officers received a report of "suspicious circumstances" in which a man approached several teenage girls and took pictures of them at a bus stop in Waterfoot.
The man, believed to be around 5ft 6in tall, reportedly left the scene after being challenged.
The incident occurred at around 5pm on March 24.
Following CCTV enquiries, police have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
PC Dave Baker, of Lancashire Police, said: "We believe someone will recognise this man and can assist with our investigation into suspected upskirting offences in Waterfoot.
"I would also make a direct appeal to him, if he sees this appeal, to get in touch and contact me directly."
Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or emailing [email protected], quoting log reference number 1464 of March 24.
Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
