Teenagers arrested and charged on suspicion of dealing crack and heroin in Lancaster

The men, aged 19 and 18, were arrested at the home on Saturday (April 25) by officers from the local task force who had been investigating reports of drug dealing in the area.
The teenagers, who are not from the area, were searched at the scene and a large amount of crack cocaine and heroin has been seized.

Hide AdOfficers also found thousands of pounds in cash and a number of mobile phones.
They were both arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with the intent to supply.
They were held in custody over night before being interviewed at Lancaster Police Station yesterday (Sunday, April 26).
Following the interview, both men were charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply and possession of heroin with intent to supply.

Hide AdThe 19-year-old has also been further charged with possession of criminal property.
The task force has sent a warning to other dealers who might be thinking of trafficking drugs into the city.
A police spokesman said: "Lancaster and Morecambe Task Force want to send a clear message to criminals that we will not tolerate you coming to our City and Town and dealing drugs.
"We will find out about you and we will target you."
