Sticky-fingered thieves caught on camera stealing 'millions' from Leyland takeaway

Shocking footage from 6Burgerz in Towngate shows two young women entering the takeaway at 10.20pm on Monday (June 8) whilst staff had been busy preparing orders in the kitchen.

The shameless pair, one in a grey velour tracksuit and another sporting black tracksuit bottoms and a blue/black top, can be seen reaching under the counter and snatching a jar before making a dash for the door.

But staff at the burger bar were baffled when they realised the young women had merely masterminded the theft of a jar of 'Millions' sweets - used as toppings for their popular 'Billionaire' milkshake.

Despite the low-cost of the theft, 6Burgerz said it wanted to share the footage with the Post to warn local businesses about the sneaky, sweet-toothed pair.
