Ribbleton man wanted after woman is raped in Preston

A man from Ribbleton is wanted after a woman in her 20s suffered a serious sexual assault in Preston last weekend.

Police are searching for Michael Foster, 32, from Hodder Brook in Moor Nook, who is wanted in connection with the attack which happened in the early hours of Saturday morning (July 11).

Detectives said a rape investigation is underway after officers were called to a home in the city where a woman in her 20s had suffered a serious sexual assault.

Det Con Sue Wilson, of Preston CID, said: "We are keen to speak to Michael Foster and would urge him to come forward as soon as possible.
