Preston woman accused of having 'dangerous dog'

A woman is to face a trial after a boy was allegedly attacked by an American Bulldog cross breed at a house in Preston.

Bianca Nita, of Tag Croft, Ingol, Preston, has pleaded not guilty to an allegation she was the owner of a dog that was dangerously out of control and caused an injury.

The boy cannot be identified for legal reasons.

The 18-year-old’s defence lawyer said she did not accept the charge.

The prosecution arises from an incident on July 21, 2019 in Deepdale.

Nita will now appear before Preston Magistrates’ Court on March 5, when her trial will take place.
