Preston teen admits she kicked girl in the face
Jodie Addison, 18, of Dodgson Place, Preston, admitted causing actual bodily harm to the 17-year-old on July 19 last year.
Prosecuting at Preston Magistrate’s Court, Andy Robinson said the girl had been around Preston with her friends.

Hide AdHe added: “There had been an earlier incident with other people to whom she owed money. That part of the incident seems to have passed but she was walking with two of her friends when she describes the defendant approaching her.
“She grabbed her by her arms and would not let her go. The victim says she was shaking with fear, scared she was going to he assaulted.
“She remembers stumbling down towards the kerb and having her hair held very tightly.
“She received a number of blows and a bigger strike on her eye.”

Hide AdThe girl was taken to hospital with a suspected fractured cheekbone that was later found to be bruising.
Defending, Steve Scott said Addison returned to the scene after the attack and was apologetic.
District Judge Jane Goodwin said she was “disappointed” to see Addison back before the court after giving her a chance on a previous occasion. She imposed four months in a young offender’s institution but suspended it for 12 months and gave her a 40 day rehabilitation activity.
Addison must pay £250 compensation, a £115 surcharge and £85 costs.
