Lancashire Police arrest Preston man wanted for breaching sex offender notification requirements

A convicted sex offender wanted by police is in custody after being arrested in Preston.
Lancashire Police appealed for the whereabouts of Thomas Sheard this week, saying the 27-year-old was wanted for breaching the notifications requirements associated with his conviction for sex offences.
Appealing to the public for help, the force said the 27-year-old has links to the Ribbleton area and urged anyone with information to get in touch.
Today (Wednesday, February 11), police confirmed Sheard has been arrested and taken into custody.
Sharing the update on Facebook, the force said: “Yesterday we asked for your help to find Thomas Sheard who was wanted for breaching sex offender notification requirements.
“He has now been arrested and is in custody.”
