Preston man, 31, charged with burgling Lostock Hall home with a baseball bat

Police are investigating a number of reported burglaries in the Lostock Hall and Bamber Bridge areas in recent weeks.

David Patel, 31, from Preston, has been charged with an aggravated burglary involving a baseball bat in Highgale Gardens, off Todd Lane South, Lostock Hall on Tuesday, April 21.

He has also been charged with interfering with a vehicle on Chain House Lane.

He is due appear at Preston Crown Court on May 26.

A police spokesman said: "Please be assured that we are still very much investigating the other incidents and are asking anyone who may have any information about who was involved to speak to us."
