Preston man, 23, missing

A young man has gone missing from Preston following a car crash, say police.

Connor Hegarty, 23, was last seen seen around 2.30am on Monday August 6 driving a silver Vauxhall Astra in the Tulketh Brow area.

Police say the vehicle was later reported as being involved in a collision near the Railway Bridge on Fylde Road.

Connor was wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans at the time of his disappearance.

PC Amy Cooney, of Preston Police, said: “Connor has been missing for several days now and we are concerned for his welfare.

“We believe he was driving a Vauxhall Astra which was involved in a collision in the Ashton area. Connor has not been seen since.

“If you have seen him, or know where he is, please contact police.

“Furthermore, I would urge Connor, if he sees this appeal, to contact us to let officers know he is safe and well.”
