Preston cannabis farm raided by police in Bold Street

A cannabis farm was raided by police in Preston.

The illegal grow was discovered inside a building in Bold Street, off Aqueduct Street, on Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the scene around 8am and efforts got under way to dismantle the grow.

The electricity supply had also been bypassed and engineers from Electricity North West were called out to make the building safe.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.02am today to an address in Bold Street, Preston.

“Officers attended and found a cannabis grow in the property. Electricity NW attended to make the premises safe.

“Our enquiries are continuing.”
