Preston attack sees Blackburn trio face trial over allegations of their involvement

Three men accused of involvement in an attack against two men in Preston are to face a trial.

Mohammad Aseeb Ali, 21, of Cornelian Street, Blackburn, is accused of wounding Mitchell Gibbons on February 16, 2020 and causing actual bodily harm to George Walmsley.

he entered not guilty pleas to the charges during a hearing before Judge David Potter at Preston's Sessions House Court.

Co-defendant Uzair Bhatti, 23, of Calder Banks, Blackburn, is accused of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm to Mitchell Gibbons, which he denies.
