POLICE WARNING: Residents in Lostock Hall should lock doors when at home
Police have issued a warning to residents in Lostock Hall to secure their properties even when they are at home after a spate of burglaries in the area.

The thefts which are described by police as "sneak in burglaries" usually take place in the evenings through insecure doors, say police.
Victims of the crimes have reported that handbags, wallets and mobile phones have been stolen in the thefts.
A spokesman for South Ribble Police said in a post to their Facebook page: "Reminder to all Lostock Hall residents - we have had a number of reports over the previous week for sneak in burglaries from 7-11pm in the evening.
"Access has been through a rear insecure door. Handbags, wallets, mobile phones have been stolen from kitchen sides.
