Police urgently need to speak to "dangerous" Karl Bruney regarding a Ribbleton firearms incident last week

Preston Police say they “urgently” need to speak to a Preston man in connection with a firearms incident which happened in the Ribbleton area of Preston in the early hours of Tuesday, August 2.

Karl Bruney, 33, of Grange Avenue, Preston, is considered dangerous and should not be approached if seen, according to Police.

Bruney is 5ft 9 and of heavy build, with a tattoo ‘RIP BRO’ on his neck.

He is primarily linked to Preston and Chorley but had links to Longridge too.

Detective Inspector Sean Cloherty of Preston Police, said: “I’m appealing to Karl Bruney to hand himself in to the nearest police station if he sees this information.”
