Police identify all 6 wanted teenagers following Penwortham Cemetery robbery

Six teenagers wanted in relation to a robbery at Penwortham Cemetery have been identified by police.

Lancashire Police said the youths were wanted after a robbery at the cemetery in Hill Road between 1.40pm and 2pm on Friday, April 10.

The force has not revealed any further details regarding the alleged robbery.

It had previously released CCTV images of six young people running near the cemetery and had asked the public for help in identifying them.

A police spokesman said: "The individuals we wished to speak to in relation to a robbery at Penwortham Cemetery on Friday, April 10 have now been identified following a CCTV appeal.

"Enquiries are on-going and the individuals identified will be spoken to in due course."

Lancashire Police has been approached for further details on the incident.
