Police hunt man with 'crooked nose and droopy features' after failed robbery in Preston
The incident happened at around 11.05am on Thursday, April 20 when a delivery driver was getting some parcels out of his van on Ribbleton Avenue near to the junction with Cromwell Road.
A spokesperson for the police said the victim was approached by a man who tried to throw a punch at him before attempting to grab the parcels from him.

Hide AdThe man rode off empty handed on a silver mountain bike towards Blackpool Road, they added.
The offender is described by police as white, of slim build, around 25 years-old with a pale, gaunt complexion and grey, droopy features. He had a crooked nose which bent to the right and was wearing a white and black deer stalker hat, a black jumper and grey jogging bottoms.
Police are now appealing for information following the crime.
DC Lewis Haigh of Preston CID said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who may have been driving past and witnessed the incident. Similarly, if anyone saw a man matching the description in the area around the time of the incident and has any information that could assist with our enquiries then please get in touch.”
