One man arrested after £35,000 worth of drugs seized in Preston

One man has been arrested after police executed a drugs warrant at an address in Preston.

Officers from the Preston Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a drugs warrant on Wanstead Street in Preston today (January 7).

Police seized an estimated £35,000 worth of drugs from the property.

One man has been arrested and is currently in custody.

A spokesperson for Preston Police said: "Today officers from the Preston Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a drugs warrant on Wanstead Street, Callon.

"This resulted in an estimated £35,000 worth of drugs seized.

"One person has been arrested and is currently in the cells awaiting interview.

"There was no need to use our big red door key today, as seconds before it was swung into action the occupant opened the door.
