Police are ramping up patrols at Preston's parks and green sites as they continue to crackdown on nuisance motorbikes.

The former Fishwick Golf Club has become one of the city's hot spots for the anti-social use of motorbikes, with youths speeding around its fairways and greens on a daily basis.

Officers are now seeking to identify two more people who were recently filmed riding dangerously at the golf course - just 24 hours after their first appeal.

A spokesperson for Preston Police said: "From all of us on the Preston Neighbourhood Team, we want to pass on a massive thank you to everyone that has seen our posts about the issues on Fishwick Golf Course and emailed in with names, pictures and other information to assist our enquiries.

"Once again, officers have been out and about today on the course and the guild wheel and will be working with the local council to combat this issue.

"In the meantime, any chance you could help us to identify either of these two?"

The force has already seized a quad bike and a scrambler bike from two riders following noise complaints from local residents.

Police said a ticket had also been issued to the owner of the scrambler bike under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002.
