Moped riders are a danger - police
Police are appealing for information about a spate of incidents of youths riding mopeds in a dangerous manner in an area of Preston.
Officers say they have received several reports about the practice in Plungington in recent weeks and want to apprehend the culprits before someone is hurt.
“Offenders have in some cases not been wearing helmets and have been driving recklessly causing a danger to themselves and others,” said a police spokesman. “If anyone has any information with regards to persons who they suspect of being involved in such activities or wishes to report anything of this nature please feel free to contact 101. In an emergency always dial 999.”
