Missing Walton-le-Dale woman found safe after two-week disappearance

A 50-year-old woman who disappeared from her home in Walton-le-Dale two weeks ago has been found safe.

Lancashire Police issued a missing person's appeal after Samantha Francis left her home and failed to return on Monday, November 23.

Officers said they had been "very concerned for her welfare" and urged the public to report any sightings of her.

But this morning (Wednesday, December 9), the force confirmed that Samantha has been found safe.

A police spokesman said: "Missing Samantha Francis from Walton-le-Dale has been found.

"Thanks for all your support and shares!"
