A man who climbed onto a rooftop in Preston city centre and refused to come down for more than four hours will be sentenced next month.
Thomas Biggley, 48, of no fixed address, was charged with criminal damage – recklessly endangering life – and affray after scaling scaffolding at Amounderness House near the markets in Lancaster Road on Sunday, May 10.

Police and fire crews were called to the scene at around 2pm, where Biggley ripped slates from the Grade II listed building and threw them to the street below.
Lancashire Police cordoned off the area and instructed local pubs and businesses to close while the standoff continued until around 6.30pm, when fire crews used an aerial ladder platform to bring him safely down.
Biggley was arrested, remanded into custody and appeared before Preston Magistrates Court on May 12.
He pleaded guilty to affray and criminal damage and will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court on June 23.
