It follows an incident on March 3 on Frank Street in the city.
The bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court committed the case to Preston Crown Court where he will next appear on June 28.
Man was armed with knives and loaded air gun
Chavez Johnson, 19, of St George's Road, Deepdale, Preston, admits possessing a hunting knife in public along with a loaded air pistol and a lock knife.
