A man who tried to grab a woman as she jogged through Preston is being sought by police.

The incident happened when a the 22-year-old woman was jogging along Blackpool Road parallel to Moor Park on Saturday at around 3.25pm when a man on a bicycle has stopped in front of her.

Police say the woman has gone to run around him when he has grabbed at her. She has managed to get free and ran off away from the cyclist.

DC Caroline Turley from Preston CID said: “The victim was understandably shaken by this incident and thankfully managed to run off.

“We need to find this man and so if you think you may know who he is, please get in touch with us.”
