Man in court accused of Grange Park stabbing murder
A 62-year-old Blackpool man has appeared at court charged with murder.
Donald Sidney Payne, of Dinmore Avenue, Grange Park, was remanded in custody by District Judge Jane Goodwin sitting at Blackpool Magistrates Court.
Payne will appear at Preston Crown Court tomorrow.
He is charged with the murder on April 29 at Dinmore Avenue of 49-year-old woman Simone Ambler.
The victim is alleged to have been stabbed to death.
Payne spoke only to confirm his name,age and address.
