Man arrested after fleeing from police at Lancaster train station
British Transport Police officers called to meet a train at Lancaster station arrested a man who fled down the platform when he saw them.
Officers were called to the station last Thursday (June 2) for an unknown issue.
British Transport Police said a man aboard the train saw officers waiting on the platform.
As the doors opened he sprinted away.
He got about 50 yards before being caught.
He was stopped and searched and subsequently arrested for possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
