Business burglary spree
It’s the latest in a string of recent break-ins targeting businesses in the South Ribble area. Most of the burglaries have occurred around Bamber Bridge, where two people were caught on CCTV forcing their way into a number of pubs, restaurants and shops.
The same pair appear to have targeted the Dog House bar (CCTV footage in video player) and Big Sandwich shop in Station Road in the early hours of Saturday, August 8.
Bamber Bridge F.C. was also recently targeted, with thieves forcing their way inside at around 3am on Wednesday, August 5.
Two people were captured on camera smashing windows to break into the club’s premises in Brownedge Road. They stole an empty cash till, which was found discarded nearby. Lancashire Police attended and said an investigation was underway.
