Learner driver fleeing police in Scotland is brought to a stop on M6 in Lancashire
A car on the run from police in Scotland fled down the M6 before being stopped by officers in Lancashire.
The Audi has been seized after police used advanced tactics to force the driver to stop on the motorway, near Preston.
They said officers had used "TPAC" - or tactical pursuit and containment - tactics to bring the chase to an end.
TPAC measures available to trained officers include boxing in a vehicle if the driver refuses to stop and using a stinger to deflate the tyres and end the pursuit.
