The famous 4x4 model is a popular target for thieves due to selling parts on the black market and it comes after a car was stripped off parts in East Lancashire.
PCSO Lauren Vallely of Fylde Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “The offenders have removed the headlight and indicator cover and have then some how neutralised the vehicles alarm system - this technique is currently being investigated by police.

“This has occured at a location within East Lancashire and offenders could travel round the county which is why we are making you aware of this.
“Please ensure where possible, vehicles are stored securely in garages/ outbuildings, vehicles are locked and any valuables are removed.”
Any suspicious activity can be reported on 101 and if there is a crime in progress call 999.
